Hosting a Quiz via Video Conference (Zoom)
We're living in unusual times and our usual spots for a quiz night - the pub or the village hall - are off limits. There are alternatives though and a quiz with family friends run over Zoom, Webex or one of the other videoconferencing apps is a great way to get together during this period of social distancing.

If you are thinking of running one, here are a few things to consider:

Each family will need the relevant videoconferencing software, but they are easy to find (just google 'Zoom')

You will act as quizmaster, with teams writing down their answers

Music rounds can be played by sharing your MP3 player - ensure you have ticked the box to share computer sound first.

Picture rounds can be run by sharing your Powerpoint screen with the other particpants
-
Teams will need to mark their own answers and report in scores
